My mom was from a small town called Brackettville. I graduated from a local college while working full-time and taking classes at night. I earned my Design Degree with a Minor in Mexican-American Studies. This was after a three year stint when I was enrolled at UCLA where I was studying to be an engineer. It didn't work due to financial and medical reasons. But I enrolled in a local University and continued my education. I believe everyone should do what ever it takes to make there dreams come true. I've struggled through lay offs, financial woes and health problems, but I wont let anything stop me. Never let anyone tell you that you cannot do something. The only one stopping you is you. My family has always supported me. Most of my immediate family live in Texas. I love them all even though I hardly get a chance to see them as often as I would like.
